This week’s Succession takes place a day or two after last week’s episode set at Logan’s wake. In fact, Logan Roy is STILL at the mortuary, and even in death, Marcia is messing with him, this time by attempting to put him in a kilt for his eternal rest. But while that hour didn’t leave the confines of Logan’s palatial townhouse, this one leaves NYC mostly behind, beyond a brief hit of Connor stressing about Logan’s Forever Outfit (which does come back around with a pay-off), and a quick and obnox pitstop at the office so Kendall can pretend he’s BMOC for five minutes1. Instead, most of our major players are back in the (hopefully recently saged!) private jet to head off to Norway to meet with A.Skars and his team for what they’re all calling “a culture check” but which is really for ongoing negotiations and various people trying to fuck over various other people, with various degrees of success.
