I promise this newsletter has not become solely recaps of holiday movies. This was supposed to be part of Tuesday’s issue, in which I vented my spleen about Christmas in the Spotlight, a reimagining of the romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce — basically another in Lifetime’s quick-to-market love stories that go as deep as… not even a puddle, but that droplet of water that sometimes spills out of your icemaker. But self-editing is not my strong suit, so both ran long, and I decided to split them up. Today, I’m giving you the rundown on the second Kelce-related movie of the season, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, courtesy of Hallmark. It is less clumsy, much less Swifty, and rather more festive. In Taylor parlance, baby, I say yes.
