Terrible news broke on Tuesday night: Actor Andre Braugher — best known for Homicide: Life on the Street (for which he deservedly won an Emmy) and, more recently, his brilliant turn as the deadpan Captain Raymond Holt on Brooklyn Nine-Nine (for which he deserved one) — died on Monday at the much-too-young age of 61, apparently following a short illness.…
