What Is Up With Ben Affleck? Part II

The subhead of our very first newsletter ever was, “What was up with Ben Affleck?!?” It was in reference to the Grammys and his infamously weird expressions, but apparently this is an evergreen question that should be in present tense. In the comments of last Thursday’s issue, someone expressed mild surprise that we didn’t touch on what was happening with Ben and Jennifer Lopez; I read that and thought, “There’s something going on with Bennifer?!?” while Heather, who was more on top of things than I was, responded that she didn’t really trust In Touch, which at the time was reporting that Ben had “moved out of the marital home” because he and J.Lo were having issues:

“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” the insider dished. “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”

That quote is really all over the place. If he’s so blameless, then…
