We’re opening this issue just as it should be opened: with messy celebrity relationship drama. Remember the end of last year, when Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness rather shockingly divorced, and there was some murmuring that Hugh had taken up with his The Music Man co-star, Sutton Foster? Murmuring which got louder when Foster filed from divorce from her own spouse about three weeks ago? Well! Murmur no more, friends: Us Weekly’s current cover story is a very well-sourced confirmation of said rumors. As a sidebar, Us has stepped up its game recently; I wonder if it has decided to lean back into chasing actual gossip again, and let People be the friendly mouthpiece for fuzzy pro-celeb PR.
