The Penultimate “Traitors Episode Says Pharewell to Phaedra

Phinally! Or, at this point, should they have kept her?

I’ve stayed away from the post-elimination interviews, but as you have heard here and likely elsewhere, several Castletestants are claiming they knew for a long time that Phaedra was a traitor and that the show is frantically cutting around it so that they have suspenseful episodes. I can’t decide whether I think that’s correct, or whether they feel so moronic watching the episodes that they’re trying to save face and/or exaggerating some facts; the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Considering that The Traitors don’t have the mountain of footage you’d get from a show like, say, Big Brother or Survivor, the show has done an admirable job editing each episode to make it seem like there is resistance to the idea and that other people are in genuine peril -- abetted, of course, by the fact that other people WERE in genuine peril, because Phaedra kept outlasting them all.
