There is so much symbolism and are so many Easter eggs throughout Episode 4 that it’s hard to talk about it in brief. It’s hard to talk about any of this in brief. I think it’s the hardest show I’ve written about, in that regard. They had huge delays and reportedly some creative squabbles between seasons one and two, before even the strike hit, and yet they still did lay some groundwork for things that are paying off now. It’s a rich, dense text, my friends. I might have to just recap the last batch one at a time, even though we’re concurrently starting White Lotus. It’s just… so much.

Gwen Christie is a Goat Lord. The innies fan out to distribute flyers asking about Ms. Casey — a strangely tangible piece of evidence, considering how covert they’re supposed to be. Mark and Helly hit up the old baby goat chamber, which now boasts a crawl space that opens out into a large grassy, hill…
