Last season’s mystery seemed a lot easier to speculate on, because we had a suspect pool that we knew were all connected to the play and/or were in the building(s) that night. This one, there is so much the protagonists don’t know, including lots of people Sazz knew; I don’t even trust we’ve met all the potential players yet. But forge ahead we must.
The victim: Charles-Haden Savage, who in this episode doubles for his stunt-double so that she can have the wake she deserves. There is one more virtual death, too, but technically the physical body count remains at one.
The suspects: We have a bunch of Westies who give us some answers about Dudenoff this week, but it’s only episode four and none of these actors is playing himself or herself, so we almost certainly aren’t done with them. Molly Shannon’s Bev Melon also re-enters the fray this week, although I’m not sure I think she killed Sazz; the only reason I can think of would be to extend the podcast to keep the movie relevant, unless o…
