I Appear to Be Watching This Season of The Bachelor

Plus: Channing Tatum, and that episode of The Last of Us

I like how I say this “appears to be happening” as if I have no knowledge of how The Bachelor could possibly be in front of my eyeholes, when actually I know exactly how this happened: I always watch Jeopardy and sometimes I stay through Wheel of Fortune because I get sucked into how enthusiastic the contestants are when they’re telling Pat about their fantastic husband and their seven beautiful children, and then whatever rolls on ABC after Wheel falls into my face. This is how I’ve seen a lot of The Goldbergs without considering myself a viewer of The Goldbergs.

However, I usually turn something else on at the first commercial break for The Goldbergs (no disrespect to The Goldbergs!) but I have not once changed the channel after the first act of The Bachelor this season despite the fact that this season is very bad!
