Elton's Swag, Justice for Endora, and Doubts About J.Lo's Movie

Sir Elton John is having a big year and it’s only mid-February! First, he achieved EGOT status in January when he won the Emmy for best live variety special, for Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium, and now he’s selling a bunch of stuff from the Atlanta apartment he unloaded in late 2023. I guess “selling” is sort of a misnomer — he’s not hosting a rummage sale, although I think the First Annual Elton John Sidewalk Sale would be a hoot. Christie’s is handling the auction. One could argue that purging your household of belongings because moving is annoying and/or you’re downsizing and/or you want money is not as much fun as reaching a rare and prized professional summit, but the person arguing that has possibly never experienced the thrill of getting rid of a bunch of stuff.
