Do You Believe in Life After Dessert?

We visit Cher's gelato truck, and pick out haunted French castles.

On Tuesday, I wrote about seeing Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour at the IMAX theater, but that wasn’t the ONLY thing I did this past weekend that involved substantially less public singing and dancing than I expected. Saturday, after the exhilarating high of twice walking past Gina Torres at a local shopping area and watching my football team unexpectedly demolish USC, I corralled my family and took them to what I was sure would be the real Happiest Place On Earth: Cher’s gelato truck.

Three important notes:

1. Gina Torres is as beautiful as you would imagine and — to me anyway — somehow not quite as tall as I’d pictured after seeing her cruise through the Suits law offices looking ready to eat some idiots alive. Although obviously you don’t have to be tall to devour idiots, but she so filled the room in all her scenes that I assumed she was 6 feet tall in heels.
