I bring glad tidings, ostensibly for my fellow Los Angelenos, but truly for the world. At long last, prayers have been answered and we have been gifted with a priceless culinary gem: the world’s first Doritos restaurant, Doritos After Dark, located at what is officially known as Crypto.com Arena, a.k.a. The Crypt, a.k.a. Staples Center, where the Lakers and the Sparks shoot hoops, and the Kings play hockey, and home of many concerts and other large-scale events. Per the press release from Frito-Lay:
Offering everything from spicy appetizers to bold entrees and sweet desserts, the restaurant elevates all dishes with the undeniable flavor and crunch of Doritos chips, inviting fans to feed their late-night curiosity.
This appears to be a (casual) sit-down establishment, open to “Crypto.com Arena ticketholders… on the night of their ticketed event for a table on a first-come-first-served basis,” and the menu is tremendous, including a variety of items that I would probably put in my mouth, …
