It’s my contention that Ariana Grande may the messiest celebrity of our time, and could be headed to Liz Taylor levels of chaos by the time it’s all said and done. There are myriad reasons the AMPTP needs to get its act together and negotiate a fair deal with the actors and writers, but I think we can all agree that a big one is that this Wicked movie needs to finish filming and hit the road. Forget Snow White and the Huntsman¹ and Don’t Worry Darling²: Now that it’s confirmed Ariana is dating her still-married co-star, Broadway’s erstwhile SpongeBob SquarePants Ethan Slater, this promotional tour is either going to be awkward as hell because they’re still together, or awkward as hell because they will have imploded by then.
