The 2026 Golden Globes Live-Chat
It begins!
Greetings, Broads! If you’d like to natter along with us today during the Golden Globes — red-carpet AND telecast — then this is the post to bookmark.
The festivities begin in earnest at 3 p.m. Los Angeles time, or 6 p.m. on the East Coast. That’s when E!’s red carpet coverage will pick up steam, and if you don’t have that, you might have some luck with WWD’s live-stream on Instagram. CBS adds its red carpet show at 4 p.m./7 p.m., and then they carry the telecast, which begins at 5 p.m./8 p.m. You can also stream the festivities on Paramount Plus, but I’m sure there’s some sort of barrier to entry — like, I doubt it will be free if you want it live, but maybe?!? (There are all kinds of things you could watch if you decide to spring for a P+ subscription for this; spend the month binging Ghosts, and Evil, for example.)
Anyhoo: The nominees, if you need a refresher, are here. And this year, everyone has had a warm-up show at the Critics Choice Awards, so hopefully they’re into a fashion groove and we’ll get some compelling stuff. Or… hopefully not, perhaps.
We ran some fun red carpet flashback posts on Go Fug Yourself from the 1996, 2006, and 2016 Golden Globes, which would make a great way to kill time while we wait to see what complicated confection (complimentary) Teyana Taylor finds for this.
