(Summer) Bestsellers and Bond Rumors

Sound the Summertime Content Klaxon! This weekend is Memorial Day and ergo, it is time for me to return to my one true passion: poring over the New York Times bestseller lists of yore to determine the best-selling beach reads of every decade. In case you missed any of these previous iterations and want to hardcore procrastinate at work, please find the bestselling novels of the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, ‘80s, ‘90s, and the first decade of the current century. (I stopped there because we need a little more perspective before we opine about the best-sellers of the past few years.)
