In honor of the holiday of the past week, from which I am still eating the spoils, this is something of a Leftovers post — bits and bobs we didn’t get to cover last week due to taking Thursday off, or snacky stuff that’s the equivalent of standing in front of the fridge and popping the top off the stuffing and grazing while trying to decide what to eat for real.

First: Apple Martin is a model now, apparently. Or perhaps I should rephrase: Apple Martin is modeling now, apparently.

The brand Self Portrait handed GOOP Jr. a campaign, for which she humped a tree branch while looking down at us boredly, and I don’t know quite what to make of it. Because, while I appreciate the humor and silliness inherent in the little logos that they made to resemble stickers on apples, this campaign doesn’t so much center the clothes or even an aesthetic as much as it does general references to Apple’s name.
