Friends, I have sinister news: In the last couple months, at least one IF NOT TWO cans in every Diet Coke 12-pack has been flat upon opening.
I know. I know.
Am I the only one this has been happening to lately?1 Are strange things afoot at the Circle K? Are my grocery stores unwittingly peddling bad batches? Can I blame tariffs? Am I being TARGETED? Is it ME? Is the Diet Coke fighting back? I certainly do not want to believe the elixir is turning against me — indeed, I refuse to believe it, even in the face of this disrespect. This is merely a rough patch in our relationship. We’ll come through it stronger in the end, although honestly it IS giving me trust issues and we might need some couples therapy.
